  • This feels like 3 first albums combined. Has vibes from Gorillaz, Demon Days and Plastic Beach. Even from The Fall. Amazing piece of work.

  • Me:

  • Me: Cries when 2D says “trying to hold on to you”

  • Russ: I got carrots

  • nobody talking about how 2D was reading a book on learning french when he sung the chorus in french?

  • Murdoc:

  • 1. 2D in a sailor outfit is amazing.

  • Is no body gonna talk about how 2d has white eyes when he’s happy compared to the normal black eyes

  • Since this song revolves around apologizing, I think it's brilliant to have 2D sing in french on those final verses showing that he's really trying to reach to whoever he's apologizing to. His words are not empty, he really means what he's saying

  • ok but..... why is Fatoumata so damn beautiful???!!!!?!?!?!?

  • 2d:has phase 2 hair

  • 2D: in that book I was trying to learn French for ‘can we stop I really need the loo' as forgot to go before we left Kong. That was where the line ‘Trying to hold on to you’ was inspired.

  • 5:18

  • 2D: having the time of his life

  • Monsters in the background:

  • It's interesting that he says "all my phantoms are blue" and then we get the song Pink Phantom which leads to an actual pink phantom that takes Gorillaz to Plastic Beach.

  • why does 2D look so soulful singing about holding in his pee

  • “I’m sorry, I’m sorry. I’m trying to hold on to you.” ....

  • I just realized that this was filmed near where I live... so fucking cool.
